IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS – READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
When installing and using this electrical appliance, basic safety procedures should always be followed, including the following:
-The pump should be powered by an isolating transformer or by a residual current device (RCD) with a rated differential current not exceeding 30 mA.
-The power source on the building wall should be located more than 4 m from the pool.
-The device must be powered by a grounded power source.
– RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK – Do not use the pump if there are people in the pool. Do not use the pool if the sand filter is damaged.
-DO NOT BURY THE WIRE. Position the wire to minimize damage from lawnmowers, pruners, and other equipment.
-To eliminate the risk of electric shock, replace any damaged cord immediately.
-If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
-Extension cords cannot be used.
-Electric shock hazard. Connecting the sand filter to an inappropriate power supply is dangerous and will cause irreversible damage.
-Do not remove the grounding prong or modify the plug in any way. Do not use plug adapters. Consult an electrician with any questions concerning grounding or plugs.
-Carry the sand filter with care. Do not pull or carry it by the power cord. Never pull the plug from the socket by the power cord. Do not allow the power cord to become frayed. Keep the sand filter away from sharp objects, oil, moving parts, and heat.
-Always disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply before disassembling, cleaning, servicing or making any changes.
-Do not plug or unplug the device from the socket with wet hands.
-Always disconnect your device:
–On rainy days
–Before cleaning or other maintenance
–Leaving unattended during vacation.
-During longer periods of non-use, for example in winter, the pool set should be dismantled and stored indoors.
-Note: Read the instructions before each use, assembly/disassembly of this device.
-Keep the instructions in a safe place. It is recommended to refer to the instruction manual each time the pool is disassembled.

Electrical installations should be carried out in accordance with national wiring regulations. If you have any questions, consult a qualified electrician.
-NOTE: This sand filter is designed for foldable pools only. It should not be used with permanent pools. A foldable pool is designed to be disassembled for storage and then reassembled for reuse. A permanent pool is typically built on the ground or in-ground so that it cannot be disassembled for storage.
-Always disconnect the device from the power supply before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
-The appliance may be used by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lacking experience and knowledge, provided they have received supervision or instruction on the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved.
-Children must not play with the appliance.
-Pumps not marked as protected against the effects of frost should not be left outdoors during frosty weather.
-Cleaning and maintenance must be performed by an adult over 18 years of age who is familiar with the risk of electric shock.
COMMENTS:
-Place the sand filter on a firm, level surface. Make sure the sand filter is at least 2 meters away from the pool. Maintain as much distance as possible.
– Ensure the sand filter and pool are positioned to allow for proper ventilation, drainage, and access for maintenance. Never place the sand filter in an area where water accumulates or where many people pass by.
-The plug must be accessible after the kit is installed. The sand filter plug should be at least 3.5 meters from the pool.
-Atmospheric conditions can affect the performance and lifespan of your sand filter; take appropriate steps to protect your sand filter from unnecessary wear and tear that may occur during periods of cold, hot, and/or sun exposure.
Before use, check that you have all the components. If you notice any damaged or missing parts after purchase, please notify Bestway Customer Service at the address listed in this manual.
-It is important to replace all worn parts as soon as possible. Use only manufacturer-approved parts.
-Do not allow children or adults to lean or sit on the device.
-Do not add chemicals to the sand filter.
-When using chemicals to clean pool water, it is recommended to adhere to a minimum filtration time to protect the health of swimmers, which depends on compliance with sanitary regulations.
-Only use media supplied or specified by the manufacturer to install the product.
-It is necessary to check whether the suction holes are not clogged.
-It is recommended to stop filtration during maintenance operations on the filter system.
-Regularly monitor the level of filter clogging.
-We recommend checking the filter weekly to ensure it needs backwashing or cleaning. To ensure clean water, filtering for 8 hours daily is recommended.
-It is essential to replace any damaged component or set of components as soon as possible. Use only parts approved by the person responsible for introducing the product to the market.
-All filters and filter media should be checked regularly to ensure that no debris has accumulated, preventing good filtration. Disposal of any used filter media should also be in accordance with applicable regulations/legislation.
-All safety requirements and recommendations in the user manual must be followed. If you have any questions regarding the pump or any other components of the water circulation system, contact a specialist or the manufacturer/importer/distributor. Water circulation systems must comply with European and national/local regulations, especially if they involve electrical components. Any change in valve position, pump size, or screen size may result in a change in flow rate and an increase in suction speed.
-This product is not intended for commercial use.
